“I was captivated by BIM’s potential”


Matteo Gianninoto started working as an MEP Designer very early on in his career. He explains that the specialisation was a real eye-opener that made him realise that it was time to explore new working methods:

“I read about BIM, experimented with some software and became captivated with its multifaceted potential. So, I decided to get a certificate and become a BIM Specialist”, says Matteo.

Soon after, he became a BIM coordinator tasked to implement BIM for AG&C associati. Although he still collaborates with the company, he’s currently employed as a BIM coordinator at Tecnoprogetti SA studio, where he works with internal training and design.

“Sustainability is a subject that must be approached with utmost importance and sensitivity. We must take it into account when we develop projects and select information components”, says Matteo  Gianninoto.

 The construction industry has flown under the media radar when it comes to our impact on the environment.
