BIM CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
Get your products specified
On commercial and public projects, architects and engineers increasingly design in BIM, short for Building Information Modelling. If your products aren't available as BIM objects, they often won't be considered when it's time to specify.

THE PROBLEM
If your products aren't in the model, someone else's are.
Architects and engineers use BIM software like Revit and Archicad to design and specify products. On many commercial and public projects, product decisions are made inside the model. If a competitor's BIM object is already placed, swapping it out takes extra work. Most architects don't bother.
01 — Discovery
Specifiers search for products inside their BIM tools. If yours isn't there, they find a competitor that is.
02 — Specification
Once a BIM object is placed in a model, it's rarely swapped. The specification often carries all the way to procurement.
03 — Mandate pressure
The systematic use of the BIM method, as well as official requirements, is growing across the world. The window to get ahead is now.
WHAT WE DO
We build BIM objects the specifiers actually use.
Our in-house team handles everything from scope to publication. You get production-ready BIM objects that meet AEC professional standards, built to your product range.
BIM object creation
We build accurate, downloadable BIM objects for Revit, Archicad, and other major BIM platforms. Geometry, materials, and technical data included.
Content strategy
We scope your product range with you, prioritising the objects that will have the most impact on specifiers and architects in your target markets.
Localised expertise
Our consultants understand local standards and naming conventions. Your BIM objects meet the requirements architects expect in each market.
Content maintenance
Products change. We update your BIM objects when they do, so specifiers always have accurate data and your library stays current.
"Having quality-built Revit content makes a huge difference over just checking the box saying yes, we have a file."
Jackie Goodwin, Senior BIM Consultant, BIMobjectOur QA process
We run automated and manual checks across geometry, materials, parameters, and types.
We go back and forth with the development team until every issue is resolved.
You review and approve the models before anything is published. Nothing goes live without your sign-off.
HOW IT WORKS
From brief to published in five steps.
We've developed a clear process over thousands of BIM content projects. You stay informed at each stage, with no technical knowledge needed on your side.

FAQ
Questions manufacturers ask us most
We need your product data sheets, 3D or 2D reference files, and information on your product's materials and textures. Once we understand how the product works, we study which features matter most to the professionals downloading the file, so we include what's useful and leave out what isn't.
If you're not sure what you have, the free consultation will tell you exactly what we need
No. The most common reason manufacturers hesitate is a lack of BIM knowledge, and that's completely normal. Our BIM consultants handle all the technical work. We explain everything in plain terms and make sure you understand what you're approving before anything is built.
You don't need BIM software or a BIM team in-house. You just need to know your products.
Ideally both, because architectural firms that work in Revit rarely work in Archicad, and vice versa. Developing in both formats means you reach the widest possible audience of specifiers.
If budget is a constraint, we recommend prioritising Revit first. It's the most widely used BIM software globally. We can plan the scope around your budget and add Archicad later.
Every BIM object we deliver goes through both automated and manual QA checks covering geometry, parameters, materials, and product types. If issues are found, we revise until everything meets our standards. This can take several rounds.

The goal isn't to recreate every bolt, it's to include the information that makes a difference to the person using the file. That means accurate geometry, materials, textures, and product data.
A BIM object that's too heavy or too complex will put architects off. One that's well-built works for every use case: space planning, lighting analysis, MEP engineering. We scope the right level of detail for your product type during the discovery phase.
We develop BIM content across all major building product categories, including HVAC and MEP, furniture, doors and windows, flooring and finishes, lighting, sanitary, building materials, and specialty equipment.

Products change over time, and so do BIM software standards. Our content maintenance service keeps your BIM objects up to date as your product range evolves, so specifiers always have accurate data.
Maintenance is handled in-house by our BIM consultants using the same quality tools and standards that built your content in the first place.
