From a simple vision from Sweden to an industry leader today.
In 2011, a small team in Malmö, Sweden, had a bold idea: to digitize construction and unleash the power of Building Information Modeling (BIM). Though the technology had existed since the 1970s, it was rarely used at scale and they decided to change that.
We launched bimobject.com, a platform where building product manufacturers (BPMs) could publish their products as BIM objects, making them instantly accessible to architects and engineers as downloadable design files.
To support brands new to BIM, we also introduced in-house content services, creating high-quality, data-rich digital twins of building products ready for use in real projects.
