Product launch highlights in 2024

Increased focus on connecting construction through product information and digital workflows! In 2024, we are taking steps towards our vision to further connect constructions many stakeholders and bridging project stages. So far, these are three launches really worth watching in the BIMobject universe, for you as a Building Product Manufacturer!

Introducing The BIMobject app for Revit

Bringing your products all the way into the architects workflow

Using the BIMobject app, architects and engineers can now import your BIM objects into their design without needing to download and store any files. This drastically improves the AEC experience and allows them to explore and use all the content from bimobject.com directly when they need it, in their Revit workflow.

In the long term, connecting to AEC users and their designs through the BIMobject app allows us to better understand product usage beyond the initial download, gaining insights into which products are used and where.

Welcome new Insights - Easier to use and more powerful!

During 2024, we are rearranging how and where you can view Insights about your brands performance. This rearrangement unfolds step by step, and makes your Insights easier to access, de-cluttered and eventually more powerful.

Over a period of time until the rearrangement is complete, you can still access your data through the old Insights space. Our aim is to have the new Insights views fully worked into the general business suite at beginning of 2025, at which point the old solution will be removed.

As part of our commitment to enhancing your experience, we have extended the visibility of performance data for all Basic and Lite customers from 90 days to an entire year.

A better way to manage your organization, people, and roles, in the BIMobject universe

As we sometimes mention, our universe is growing. This may not affect your experience very much at the moment, but piece by piece we are putting in place an improved structure to provide you smarter ways to access and work with our tools, your assets and your data.

We have now moved things into what we call Your Organization. From here you can manage people, their roles and information about your organization in one place.

2025 and beyond

Upcoming legislation is steadily increasing the need for digital product information in building projects. Catering to this need of the industry, and helping your product data reach the projects as desired by your stakeholders, is occupying our full attention as we plan future development.
